Bayeux L'Embarquement European Cushion Cover

Bayeux L'Embarquement: this European jacquard loom woven tapestry cushion cover is an extract of the queen Mathilde's tapestry. The original some 230 feet long, is in the Bayeux museum in Normandy. It describes how England was conquered by Normans. Here King Harold takes to the open sea in direction of Normandy. Companion piece to this is #901 Bayeux Le Repas.
