Crosse Rubis, or Red Crosse, is a jacquard tapestry cushion cover woven in France. The artwork is an extract from the famous wall-hangings of the Apocalypse d Angers, from the end of the 14th century by Nicolas Bataille based on the illustrations of Hennequin of Bruges, for the Duke Louis 1st of Anjou. This piece can be used as companion with #5477 Crosse Saphir.
