Floret Wall Tapestry

This tapestry is a detail of the right portion of the Triumph of Flora, one of a series of tapestries woven as a tribute to the gods. Flora is the Roman Goddess of gardens, spring, and fertility, and here stands one of her ladies who, large with child, stands as a symbol of fertility as she helps with the gardens that surround the temple.
