Galanteries European Tapestry Wall Hanging

Galanteries is Belgian jacquard wall tapestry. It portrays two scenes from a set of 7 medieval tapestries on the subject of courtly life (Bath, Concert, Reading, Departure of the hunters, Walking, Embroidering, and Courtly Speech). It represents the favored pastimes of noblemen and their ladies around 1500. Certainly woven in Flanders, the originals are displayed in the Cluny Museum, France.
