Knight and Ladies of Camelot with Loops French Wall Tapestry

Knight and Ladies of Camelot with Loops is a French woven jacquard wall hanging. The artwork is based on a set of large tapestries drawn by William Morris and Edward Burne- Jones and then woven in the workshops of Morris and Company (1890-1895). Considered as a major piece of the decorative art of the Victorian time, those tapestries depict the Quest for the Holy Grail. The Knights of the Round Table make their farewells to the ladies of Camelot.
