Licorne Captive III is a simpler rendition of the early 15th century original which is part of the set, Chasse a la Licorne, or The Hunt of the Unicorn. The unicorn is attached by a golden chain to a pomegranate tree. This jacquard wall tapestry is also known as Captive Unicorn.
