Maximilien is a Belgian made jacquard woven wall tapestry. The red horseman represents the Archduke Maximilien. This scene represents the month of March; the design was originally one in a series of twelve tapestries woven in Brussels during the Renaissance. Designed by Bernard van Orley (1488 - 1541).
