Monet Horizontal (small) is a Belgian wall tapestry; a picturesque composition of the garden of Claude Monet in Giverny. In 1890 he bought the house and land outright and proceeded to create the magnificent gardens he envisioned for the famous group of paintings of the place. Giverny sits on the right bank of the River Seine where the river Epte meets the Seine.
