Description
Vignes and Acanthes, or Vines and Acanthus, is a French woven jacquard wall tapestry. The original design comes from William Morris (1854-1896). The original tapestry (1879) is exhibited in Kelmscott Manor in Oxfordshire, England, which was Morris's Summer Home. It is the only large tapestry woven by William Morris himself.
